Founded in 2021 by record producer Rocco Guarino in Los Angeles, CA, Starlite Records was born out of a  frustration for too much great music left collecting digital dust. After years of working on projects that never saw the light of day, Rocco decided it was time to create a platform where talent would come first—and artists would never be left behind.

Now based in Nashville, TN, Starlite Records is an independent label with a big heart. We champion roots rock and alternative genres, but we don’t believe in boxes. What matters most to us is talent, originality, and passion.

 

But Starlite isn’t just a label—it’s personal. The name and vibe is a tribute to Rocco’s mom, a talented songwriter in the 1960s whose own music career never got the recognition it deserved. Her spirit and relentless tenacity live on in everything we do. This label is her legacy as much as it is his mission.

 

Starlite Records is small but mighty, and music comes first. Always. We rebel against the industry’s red tape, stale formulas, and endless gatekeeping. Rocco being an songwriter/producer himself, he knows what it's like to kick down doors, and always has the artist's back.

 

We fight for our people, whether that means helping them develop their vision, or partnering with major labels to amplify their reach. We believe in collaboration over control, and in creating a space where musicians can thrive creatively and professionally.
